ok thanks everyone for the info...i now have a better idea about it
all :)
Neil you condused me about BTs ADSL though as you said...
>BT's ADSL network is very good. I've had three line drops in five
>months, and each time it reconnected immediately. My connection has
>currently been up for 485 hours.
and in another post said...
>ADSL is a better service, and more reliable is you use a decent ISP
>(i.e. not BT). But cable is a lot cheaper
so is BT`s ADSL good or bad??
what ISP`s can anyone recommend as good ones for ADSL?
i`m in the manchester area if that helps?
BT are currently offering a half price instalation fee at 75 pounds
so thats tempting me to get ADSL however the 40 pounds a month seems
a bit expensive.
